Oh, the blood of Jesus it washes white as snow.
As we walk this life we sometimes forget that without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. We have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God but Jesus gave His life as a ransom that we all can be saved. What a wonderful revelation to remember that Jesus is the one that paid the sin debt for our sins. It was not an easy task for Jesus to come and walk this lonely road leading to Calvary. He knew what was ahead because He was the Father's son and yet He surrended unto the will of the Father because of the Love He had for those who would come in the flesh. He knew that He was going to be hung on a cross with nails in his hands to cover the things that our hands would do and his feet to cover the places where our feet would take us, a crown of thorns would be placed upon His head to cover our minds and and that He would bare stripes upon His back for our healing with a cattail of nine whip. They pulled his beard out with their hands. Oh, the blood of Jesus washes white as snow. Upon that cross, Jesus cried out Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing. What an amazing love to cry out for those who were crucifying him.
We must remember to return to the Blood and allow it to wash us from the filth that attaches itself to us daily. We are to be a Holy people and unless we are covered and washed in the blood we can never truly appreciate the Blood of the Lamb that was sacrificed for our sins.
Oh, the blood of Jesus, O the blood of Jesus, Oh the blood of Jesus it washes white as snow.
Nothing but the blood of Jesus, nothing but the blood of Jesus, nothing but the blood Jesus washes white as snow.
