Have you been under attack from the enemy? Have you been trying to overcome obstacles in your life and feel like you were winning the battle, when all of a sudden you ran into a wall? In the Old Testament Moses became weak during the battle and could no longer hold his arms up Aaron and Hur came alongside him and held his arms up and then they began to win the battle (Exodus 17:12). Sometimes, we need to lift each other up during the battles. We must be sober-minded; be watchful because your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8) He will try to use us against each other if possible. We must be careful that we don’t allow the enemy to use us to hurt one another or to speak against one another. So during the attacks we must stand strong in the Lord and rebuke the devil and the attacks of the enemy. We must not allow the enemy to use us to bring confusion or to say hurtful things to one another. We must not attack others. God is love (1 John 4:8) and when we live in the Spirit the love of God must be manifested I n our actions towards others. During the attacks of the enemy and for every obstacle that comes our way let us reach out and try to take the load off of each other by being a friend, brother or sister. We are not always strong and we each need love and understanding to withstand the attacks. We must look at the attacks of the devil has a stomping ground and begin to stomp him back in the ground. We must be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16). One thing we know for sure is that we win the battle in the end. There is never a victory without a battle. So as we walk through the battles let us begin to Praise the Lord because we know victory is ahead. Usually the enemy is trying to bombard us and get our eyes off of the victory ahead or the mighty move of God that is around the corner. During the battles, let us draw closer together for the Lord’s word states that He would rather that His brethren dwell in unity (Psalm 133:1). Where there is unity, there is no confusion but power, love and acceptance. The Lord states that we are to love our neighbor as ourselves. (Matthew 22:9) Have you heard the old children’s song “the devil is a sly old fox I’d like to catch him and throw him in a box? Lock the door and throw away the key for all the tricks he’s played on me.” Are you ready to stomp out the attacks of the enemy and ready for the victory around the corner? Let us begin to shout the victory!
