Overcomer

Thank God that we are overcomer’s by the blood of the Lamb.  We all have been fighting battles and have been being attacked by the enemy but we win in the end.  Look at Job and all that he experienced because Satan was allowed to come and touch him but Satan was not allowed to kill him.  When Job heard that his livestock was gone and that all of his children were dead, Job tore his clothes, shaved his head and fell to the ground in worship.  Job spoke these words, “Naked I came from my mother’s womb and naked I will depart, the Lord gave and he has taken away may the name of the Lord be praised.  Job’s wife asked him if he was still trying to hang onto this integrity, she said curse God and die.  Job told his wife that she was speaking like a foolish woman, shall we accept only good from God and not trouble.  Job was an overcomer in all that he experienced, every time Satan was allowed to touch his body, Job knew that God was his strength.  There is no place that we can go that the Lord doesn’t see us.  When we call out to Him, he hears our prayers and he answers us speedily.  To be an overcomer means that we are covered and protected because we abide in the Shadow of the Almighty.  He is our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust.  He will cover you with his feathers and under his wings we will find refuge, his faithfulness will be our shield and rampart.  Because he loves me says the Lord, I will rescue him, I will protect him.  I will be with him in times of trouble, I will deliver him. (Psalm 91)  Does Psalm 91 make you feel like an overcomer?  We have pleaded the blood over our lives and the enemy wants to distract us. For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world our faith.  1 John 5:4 We must continue to push through the battles and not become weary because we are just about home.  God states that in the latter days that if it were possible even the elect could be deceived.  Let us continue to seek the Lord and walk in the Spirit for we are children of the light.  Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. (1 John 4:4)  For the LORD your God is he who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies, to give you the victory.'  (Deuteronomy 20:4)  We owe the Lord all our praise and worship for we are children of the King.  Our hearts desire is to Praise the One who gave his life. for ours.  Let us remember Job and all that he endured during the battle Satan warred against him and remember that we serve the same God that Job did.  We can overcome every obstacle when we are holding the hand of the man who calms the sea.  We will bless the Lord at all times; his praise shall continually be in our mouths.  (Psalm 34:1)
